An Alternative or Compliment to Traditional Therapy

The experience of trauma is life-altering. The experience of trauma often manifests itself with physical or somatic symptoms. In Trauma Touch Therapy, we gently peel away the layers that surround the pain and grief of your trauma. In a Trauma Touch Therapy session, we work collaboratively within your comfort level to facilitate your healing, your growth, and your desire to move past the grip of trauma to embrace the future with joy and freedom. 


Here are some important things to know about TTT. 


1. This is not massage therapy. It was developed specifically for people who may be uncomfortable with touch. It can be used as a way to become more comfortable with touch at your pace.


2. There is no requirement for you to disclose specifics such as the what, where, when, or who of your history.


3. There is no expectation that you sign up for the full length of TTT. The complete therapy program is 10 consecutive sessions. However, I break them up into 3 consecutive sessions to allow for reflection, progress, and avoid scheduling conflicts.


4. Sessions are typically between 45-75 minutes, depending on your needs each time we meet.


5. I'm happy to answer any questions you have. At no charge, you can set up a 15-minute consultation over the phone or in-person at my office. Reserve  a time on the scheduling page.

What can you expect from TTT with Hannah?


It is my honor to provide this healing work. After sorting out my own traumas, I wanted  to do the same for others. It took many years of patience, many healing modalities, and plain old self-education to arrive at acceptance. 


I personally understand how important it is to move slowly through trauma work, to acknowledge the feelings associated with grief, and to work within your comfort level. 


We will work towards freedom through a combination of movement, drawing, reflection, simple meditation, and even play. From nearly a decade of healing arts therapies, I bring to you experience, understanding, and care. 


While trauma can never be undone, we can learn ways to cope. My desire is to guide you to a place of healing inside yourself that you can revisit for years to come.
